Guilty: Kikau suspended for shoulder charge

Panthers forward Viliame Kikau has been suspended for two matches after being found guilty of a grade one shoulder charge at an NRL Judiciary hearing on Tuesday night.

Kikau's legal counsel argued the tackle on Dragons playmaker Darren Nicholls did not meet the necessary criteria to classify as a shoulder charge.

However the NRL judiciary panel of former players Mal Cochrane, Sean Garlick and Dallas Johnson disagreed and found Kikau guilty.

The 24-year-old Fijian will miss Sunday's showdown with Canberra and next Saturday's clash with the Bulldogs at Bankwest Stadium.
