Four Panthers named for U20s Origin clash

Panthers quartet Spencer Leniu, Stephen Crichton, Matt Burton and J'maine Hopgood have been selected for the annual U20s State of Origin clash at ANZ Stadium next Wednesday.

The junior representative match is a curtain-raiser to the State of Origin series decider and will be livestreamed on the NSW Rugby League website.

Burton joins Leniu and Crichton in the 20-man NSW squad following the withdrawal of Bulldogs halfback Brandon Wakeham, while Hopgood has been named in the 18-man QLD squad.

Panthers utility Daine Laurie had to be withdrawn from the Blues side due to a hamstring complaint.
