Blake cops contrary conduct charge

Panthers centre Waqa Blake has been slapped with a grade one contrary conduct charge for pushing Eels playmaker Mitchell Moses during the defeat at Panthers Stadium on Sunday.

The contrary conduct charge will see Blake receive a fine of $1350 if he takes the early guilty plea, or an $1800 fine if he contests and is found guilty.

Moses was surprised by the push, which occurred in the 59th minute of the game, and remained on the ground for some time, forcing a stoppage of play so he could be attended to by medical staff.

The incident can be viewed in the video below.
