Hetherington cops charge for high shot

Panthers forward Jack Hetherington is set for a stint on the sideline after being slapped with a Grade One Careless High Tackle charge by the Match Review Committee.

Hetherington made contact with the head of Titans fullback AJ Brimson during the first half of Saturday's clash at Cbus Super Stadium.

A number of previous offences, plus 50 carry-over points, means the 22-year-old will miss two weeks with the early guilty plea.

An unsuccessful plea of not guilty will see Hetherington receive a three-match suspension.
