Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has finalised his side to face Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium on Friday.

Jarome Luai makes his NRL debut as Panther No.579 while Trent Merrin takes the field less than a week after suffering a compound dislocation of his finger.

Nick Lui-Toso and Wayde Egan have been omitted and will instead play for the Panthers ISP side against North Sydney Bears on Sunday.
