The Panthers U18s side take on Sydney Roosters in the SG Ball Semi Finals this Saturday at UOW Jubilee Oval.

The Panthers finished in a four-way tie for top spot after the regular season but had to settle for fourth based on points differential. That led to a Qualifying Final against Cronulla last weekend where they fell to a 28-20 defeat.

The loss sets up a showdown against the Roosters who beat Wests Tigers 34-12 to earn their spot in the second week of the finals.

The Roosters finished fifth on the ladder after the regular season, two points behind the Panthers, but the two sides are yet to play each other this year.
