Scans have cleared Bryce Cartwright of serious injury after the Panthers forward was forced from the field during Sunday's win over Wests Tigers.

Cartwright took a knock to his ankle and experienced significant pain but scans on Monday revealed no fracture.

The 22-year-old suffered bone bruising which will need to be managed by Panthers medical staff during the week.

There is still a possibility Cartwright will be fit to take the field against Sydney Roosters at Pepper Stadium on Saturday.
