Panthers forward Isaah Yeo wins the 2016 Senior Education Award for his commitment to tertiary studies despite his burgeoning on-field success.

Yeo enjoyed the most successful season of his career in 2016, with Anthony Griffin handing him a starting spot in the Panthers back row.

The 21-year-old played 26 games and finished with five tries, two try assists, 2599m (280 runs), 13 offloads and 655 tackles.

Yeo successfully juggled his on-field commitments with his studies in a Bachelor of Arts (Primary Teaching) - a degree he commenced while playing in the National Youth Competition.
