Panthers young gun Liam Martin wins the 2016 Junior Education Award after an oustanding season on and off the field.

In his first season with the Panthers NYC side, the backrower didn't miss a game and finished with six tries, three try assists, 17 offloads and 743 tackles.

The 19-year-old from Temora impressed Panthers staff with his ability to combine on-field commitments with dedicated university work as he studies a Bachelor of Science.

Martin will return as member of the Panthers NYC side in 2017.
