For his tireless commitment to the club, Panthers Indigenous Welfare Officer Glen Liddiard wins the 2016 Club Person of the Year Award.
Liddiard played first grade rugby league for the likes of Parramatta, Penrith, North Sydney and South Queensland during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
He joined the Panthers in 2012 and while his official job title is Indigenous Welfare Officer, in reality his contribution to the club extends much further.
Liddiard provides valuable support for every player at the Panthers, plays a key role in many of the club's community initiatives and does countless odd jobs behind the scenes.
In 2016, amongst Liddiard's many contributions, he earned particularly high praise for cooking a mean BBQ for the players and staff after Captain's Run each week. Thanks Lids!
