Panthers centre Waqa Blake has copped a charge following a collision with Newcastle fullback Jake Mamo in Sunday's game at Hunter Stadium.

The Match Review Committee has slapped Blake with a grade one dangerous contact charge for the incident, which can be seen in the video above.

An early guilty plea will see Blake free to play this week with 75 carryover points, while an unsuccessful contest against the charge will result in a one game suspension.

The Panthers play Wests Tigers at Pepper Stadium on Friday night, with the finals hopes of both clubs on the line. Tickets are selling fast. GET YOURS NOW.
