Panthers prop Sam McKendry is facing a stint on the sideline after being cited for a grade one shoulder charge against the Storm.

Given his record and carry-over points, an early guilty plea will see McKendry suspended for two weeks, while an unsuccessful challenge at NRL Judiciary will result in a three-week suspension.

McKendry was the only player charged following the match. Marika Koroibete's hit on Dallin Watene-Zelezniak was deemed to be within the rules of the game by the Match Review Committee, despite the Storm winger seemingly making no attempt to use his arms in the try-saving tackle.
