Following a tremendous season of powerful runs and hard-hitting tackles, prop Moses Leota has won 2015 NYC Player of the Year.

Leota cemented himself as a key player for Cameron Ciraldo's NYC team in his second season for the side. The imposing prop forward was a constant menace for his opposition, averaging 158 metres and 26 tackles, along with an excellent return of seven tries.

Leota unfortunately suffered injury on his NSW Cup debut but returned to the Holden Cup and played a big part in the team's excellent run to the premiership.
