The two NRL Grand Final teams will headline today's opening of NRL Nation at Sydney’s Darling Harbour, Rugby League's biggest free family fun zone.

NRL Nation will feature unique interactive experiences, meet and greet opportunities with players and legends from every NRL club, children's entertainment, a daily mascot parade and Marvel movie nights.

There are also skills tests, a change-room experience and fitness classes led by NRL Ambassador and former Raiders player Alan Tongue.

NRL Nation opens at 4pm on Thursday 1 October, with an appearance from both NRL Grand Final teams at 5pm. They will also be joined by iconic Australian band Cold Chisel, who are performing a special pre-game concert at the Grand Final. NRL Nation runs until Saturday 3 October.

"NRL Nation is the largest free interactive centre ever established for our fans," NRL Head of Football Todd Greenberg said.

"The fans and players are what make our game so great. The engagement centre at Darling Harbour, part of Grand Final Week celebrations, is a Rugby League first and is an exciting way for fans of all ages to get into the spirit."
