Penrith Panthers are thrilled to announce Hostplus has extended its commitment as the club's shorts partner through to the end of the 2016 NRL season.

Next season will mark the ninth consecutive year of the partnership between Hostplus and the Panthers.

"Hostplus has been a loyal supporter of the Panthers and we are delighted to continue that partnership into 2016," Panthers Head of Rugby League Justin Pascoe said.

"From a commercial perspective it is particularly pleasing to know both parties have consistently achieved their objectives over an extended period of time."

Hostplus is one of Australia's largest Industry Super Funds serving the hospitality, tourism, recreation and sport industries for over 25 years. The national fund has nearly one million members, over 99,000 employers and $19 billion in funds under management.

"We are pleased to extend our partnership with the Penrith Panthers, which I am confident will continue to deliver many benefits to our existing members," Hostplus CEO David Elia said.

"Major sporting partnerships are not just about sport, they bring together the hospitality and tourism industries and play an important role in creating economic growth within the industries that we serve.

"This is something we're very proud to help facilitate, especially in markets such as New South Wales which is a very important market for our industries.

"Hostplus was recently successful in winning a NSW Government bid to deliver Sydney's new convention, exhibition and entertainment precinct in Darling Harbour, showcasing the commitment of the Australian superannuation industry towards nation building infrastructure and securing retirement savings for members."
