The Battle of the West against Parramatta left the Panthers with a couple of major injury concerns.

Here's the latest on Matt Moylan and Jamie Soward.

MATT MOYLAN

Moylan had his right ankle caught in a tackle in the 11th minute and played no further part in the game. Scans have revealed Moylan suffered torn ankle ligaments and will spend at least six weeks on the sideline. The young fullback will consult with specialists and Penrith medical staff to ensure he returns to the field as soon as possible.

JAMIE SOWARD

Soward suffered an AC joint injury in his right shoulder after being hit by Parramatta's Pauli Pauli. He left the field for treatment but returned in the latter stages of the second half. The playmaker had scans on his shoulder on Monday and will undertake fitness tests through the week.
