International Rugby League hits St Marys Stadium on Sunday afternoon when two passionate Mediterranean nations go head to head for the first time since 2006.

The Malta Knights will take on the Lebanon Cedars from 3pm and a number players from across the Penrith District Junior League will turn out for the red and whites in representing their Maltese heritage.

Kane Fuller (Minchinbury Jets), Corey Harland (Minchinbury Jets), Jake Lennox (Blacktown Workers) and Luke Vella (Emu Plains) have all been included in the Australian based Maltese squad.

Lebanon’s squad will include NSW Cup players, ex Roosters NRL player Ray Moujalli and Wael Harb from Lebanese domestic championship club - American University of Beirut.

The International is the only Rugby League clash in Sydney on Sunday afternoon.
