This week’s NRL ANZAC Round pays homage to every man and woman, past and present who have served our country.

Panthers were honoured to recently meet with one of our very own Panthers fan, 89 year old Bill Ebzery.  Bill who has lived all his life in Mt Druitt, served on the WWII frigate HMAS Hawkesbury and was the youngest sailor on board.

We spoke with him about his time at war, what it was like when he returned and what ANZAC Day means to him.

Bill and his family will be special guests of Panthers this Sunday when we take on the Sharks at Pepper Stadium.

Acknowledgement of Country

Penrith Panthers players and staff respect and honour the traditional custodians of the land and pay our respects to their elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
