Penrith Panthers is pleased to announce that Pepper Group has taken over the naming rights of their home ground, which from today will be known as Pepper Stadium.

As one of Australia’s leading non-bank lenders, Pepper offers a range of consumer finance products and services and sits perfectly alongside the Panther’s other top-tier partners.

Penrith District Rugby League CEO Justin Pascoe welcomed Pepper Group to the Panthers.

“We are excited to be joining forces with another truly global partner. The Pepper Group offers diverse financial solutions that will add value to not only our membership base across the whole Panthers group, but also the whole western Sydney region.

"This strategic partnership is again testament to the current strength of the Panthers brand and our ability to attract quality businesses across all levels. We are looking forward to working very closely with the team at Pepper to deliver mutual value against the agreed objectives”.

Co-Group CEO of Pepper, Patrick Tuttle, said the partnership between Pepper and the Panthers was a natural fit given both company's shared values and commitment to the local community.

"The Panthers on-field success as well as their strong community engagement programs means that they have been in our sights for some time. To be the naming rights sponsor of their iconic home ground not only gives us great exposure but will also help us to further engage within this vibrant community”.

Pepper replaces Sportingbet, who had the rights for the 2014 season.

“I would like to acknowledge the wonderful partnership that has existed between William Hill Australia and their Centrebet and Sportingbet brands. We completely understand the strategic direction William Hill are taking for their business and we wish them all the best in the future.” added Mr. Pascoe.

A spokesperson for Sportingbet’s parent company William Hill Australia says “William Hill Australia has enjoyed a long and successful association with the Penrith Panthers through its Centrebet and Sportingbet brands. We wish the Panthers all the best for the upcoming season and beyond”.
