The Panthers today are very proud to unveil the 2015 Auckland Nines jersey.
Designed by prestigious Melbourne design firm MMR, the jersey features the introduction of a new colour, gold. This colour has featured prominently in much of the retail apparel and one for which fans have expressed considerable preference.
The claw marks with intense eye peering through, represent the predatory nature of a Panther in its natural habitat, possessing an incredibly powerful armoury of agility, speed, stealth and of course, killing weapons.
"I certainly wouldn't want to face one, either in the wild or on the pitch" says Panthers club icon and premiership winning player Royce Simmons.
"The new jersey looks fantastic, I understand it received the seal of approval from many of our juniors, the real authorities on what's 'cool' "he went on to say.
NRL Coach of the Year, Ivan Cleary also reaffirmed the design was a hit with his own kids giving the innovative design a double thumbs up as well.
