Panthers were contacted by Explore & Develop, a preschool in Alexandria, nope that’s not a suburb in western Sydney, indeed a suburb in the heart of South Sydney, to mention that the kids were avid Panthers fans and even more so, enthusiastic fans of none other than our very own big kid himself, Jamie Soward.
Jamie was fantastic, when he heard, and didn’t hesitate to volunteer and make the trek to visit the school, and was greeted with tumultuous roars…. and squeals of “Jamie Soward, Jamie Soward, Jamie Soward…” upon entry.
According to teachers the kids were so excited, refused their afternoon nap, some even wouldn’t eat until they met their favourite #7.
Jamie took the time to talk to the kids about eating well, the importance of listening to their parents and teachers, as well as playing a little football before returning to the Panthers den as the sunset in the west.
