The Panthers are excited to announce that Matt Moylan and Bryce Cartwright have extended their contracts with the club for two and three years, respectively.
Matt was contracted until the end of the 2015 season, however this new deal will see him stay at the foot of the mountains until the end of 2017.
Bryce, who’s contract was up at the end of next year, has now agreed to stay with the club until 2018.
Matt says he’s really happy to be staying at Penrith.
“I’m really glad I’m staying at the Panthers. We’ve got a good team here at the moment, all the boys are great and Ivan is an outstanding leader, and I’m excited to see where we can take this club in the future. As a team, we are playing some really good footy and it’s exciting to be a part of that”
“I’d like to thank Gus, Phil Moss and Ivan for giving me the opportunity to play first grade, and a big thank you to all of our members and fans for supporting me over the last couple of years. You made my decision to stay very easy”
Bryce says he can’t wait to get back out on the field.
“I really appreciate what the Panthers have done for me and the faith they have shown in my ability. Penrith is where I started my footy career and it’s definitely where I want to stay and develop it over the next few years. Everyone at the club is so supportive, and our members and fans are great. I’m looking forward to playing some good footy for them again soon!”
General Manager of Rugby League, Phil Moss says Matt and Bryce have very bright futures with Penrith.
“These two boys are among the best young talent to come through the Panthers ranks over the last few years, and everyone at the club is really looking forward to watching them grow and develop. They are both part of the club’s plans for the future, and I’m delighted that they have agreed to stay on”
Executive General Manager of Rugby League Phil Gould is extremely excited.
“It’s wonderful. It truly is wonderful.”
