The name Nigel Plum may send shivers down the spines of any footballer who has to play against the Panthers, but for two little boys in New Zealand that name inspires them to put on their boots and their headgear every week, and tackle their opponants as hard as they can!

Those two boys are Noah and Matt. They have been emailing Plummy for the past two years, watching him in every game and cheering on the Panthers - even when they play against the Warriors!

And Plummy emails them back, has sent them headgear, and checks in with them weekly to find out how they went in their footy games.

He loved their latest email so much, he wanted to share it with all Panthers fans.

Hi Nigel Plum

Great try over the top of  Daily Cheery Heavens.  Matt hopes your nose is o.k.   . Our season is finished. We won all of our games but one. We went to laser maze. At the team awards I got a Nigel Plum award and Matt got a Matt Moylan award could you tell Matt Moylan that Matt got the Matt Moylan award. Have a good game against the Warriors. we hope you win. I told my principal that the you will waste the warriors. we are looking forward to the finals.

ps: tell Matt Moylan that Matt got the Matt Moylan award and Emerson said I hope you have a good day.
