The Panthers NYC team bounced back into winning form last week at Bathurst when they defeated the Cronulla Sharks 18-14 in a tight match. Winning these tight games is of upmost importance at this time of the year for the Panthers who currently sit in 10th position, just one point outside the top eight.

This week also gives the boys a chance to avenge the round 3 loss to the Bulldogs at Sportingbet Stadium where they went down 34-14, which is one of just two games that the Bulldogs have won this year.

The Panthers boys will be aiming to continue on their winning form from last week and will be boosted by the return of a couple of talented and experienced players in Dallin Watene Zelezniak and Kieran Moseley. Moseley has been in NSW Cup most of the year and the time spent playing against older and more experienced men will serve him and the team well as he returns for this clash against the Bulldogs.

The same can be said for Dallin Watene Zelezniak who returns to the NYC team after spending the last two weeks in the NRL and gets the chance to play fullback in this game.

The 16th placed Bulldogs went down to the North Queensland Cowboys last week 46-20 after a second half collapse and will be looking to bounce back. Their task is made harder by the fact that a number of their players have been elevated to NSW Cup this week including Danny Fualalo, Tyrone Phillips and Adam Elliot. However, they will be led around the park by for Bronco’s junior Guy Hamilton and local Bulldogs junior Brendan Cox.
