Tori Schaecken from Cambridge Park High School has taken out the 2014 Nepean Schools Culinary Challenge, hosted by Panthers on the Prowl and Penrith Outback Steakhouse.

She was one of the top three point scorers after the opening rounds of competition, and eventually won the individual title after beating the other students in a three-piece dessert challenge.

Cambridge Park High was also the winning school, overall.

As part of the contest, participants were taught everything about the food industry from planning and preparing, to serving delicious meals.

Tori’s mum, TAS teacher and principal were there for the final cook-off and to watch the presentations.
