Saturday’s Under 20’s clash between the Panthers and the Titans should be a pretty evenly matched affair, with both teams struggling to find their form in recent weeks.

Penrith is now sitting in 8th spot on the ladder after their win over the Eels last weekend but that followed a string of losses. While the Gold Coast youngsters haven’t posted a win since round 8, and are languishing back in 15th position, equal last with the Bulldogs.

Trent Barrett made a few changes to his side last weekend and it paid off, so he has stuck with a similar line up this week. Corey Harawira retains the fullback jersey, while young gun Christian Crighton will take his place on the wing. He also has a very strong bench to call upon.

Gold Coast had the BYE last round so they will be a little fresher than our boys, and they’ll also have a home ground advantage.

The Panthers will be looking for a repeat performance of their win over Parramatta, which showcased some brilliant defence. They only let the opposition in once in the whole 80 minutes, while running in 18 points of their own. They held their form and attacked aggressively, dominating for most of the match.

Baz will again be looking to his halves combo of Jarrod Brackenhofer and Sam Scarlett to guide the team around the park and get the ball out to our wingers, who have been our leading try scorers.
