The  mighty Penrith Panthers start the new season hosting Newcastle Knights at Sportingbet Stadium this Saturday.

For our first home game the western gate opens at 12.00pm with the NYC Panthers leading the action in the curtain-raiser event at 12.10pm, followed by the NSW Cup Panthers at 2.10pm.

Our NRL Panthers will embark on their campaign at 4.30pm.

While many Panthers and Knights members have already secured their tickets by becoming members, supporters can still get tickets through Ticketek or you could sidestep needless delays, long queues and higher costs by clicking here and becoming a Member as well.

Sportingbet Stadium will look very different as we continue to improve our fan day experience.  To celebrate the opening round and the family friendly time of 4.30pm, Panthers are hosting a family fun day with extra activities for all children and big kids alike:

  • Kidz Korner now boasts new and improved fun stuff  including, super slide, cup & saucer, bungee trampolines, pass the ball, jumping castle, face painting,  balloons plus loads of fairy floss.

  • Notable transformation of the fan experience at Sportingbet Stadium is the introduction of a vastly improved audio visual experience.  Fans will notice not one, but TWO new high definition screens . Initially a temporary solution until our very own monster screens arrive a little later in the season, measuring 48sqm and 43sqm respectively., a whopping 75% increase on screen real-estate  area from last year.

  • An imaginative new merchandise experience with the creation of a new store, in a new location, with an entirely new feel. You have to see it to believe it.

  • A variety of new food and beverage options and for the first time at Sportingbet Stadium 2 tier pricing for members and non-members.

  • Check out the start of our Panthers branding developments in and around the stadium, including new and prominent feature wall, an impressive new 6 meter LED Panthers display on the Western Grandstand, all new LED sign/displays over the western and northern entrances at Sportingbet stadium too are just the beginning of the transformation to rebrand the home of the Panthers.

  • New supporters bay The Den is primed and ready to rock the house.
