Panthers Chairman Don Feltis has today confirmed the Penrith District Rugby League Football Club Board of Directors will be re-elected unopposed for 2014.
Members have decided the current management structure is working well for the club and the local community, acknowledging several outstanding achievements over the past two years.
These include:
•50% of debt expired resulting in recovery of ownership of Panthers properties.
•Further major debt reduction planned for 2014.
•Significant improvement in profitability across the Group.
•Major refurbishment of Penrith club for member comfort and benefits.
•Development of Penrith property for new community facilities.
•Panthers NRL Academy & Western Sydney Community Sports Centre.
•Investment by Crown Group in Crown Training & Education Centre.
•Best player housing, education and welfare program in rugby league.
•Increased funding to rugby league programs at J.L. and NRL levels.
•Strong resource support for Penrith J.L. largest R.L. nursery in Australia.
•Winning the highly prestigious 2013 National Youth Competition.
•Panthers recently voted most valuable sporting brand in Australia.
