Regional Trips

Aligning with the Panthers home games in Bathurst and Mudgee, the Panthers Foundation endeavours to deliver week long activations leading into the gameday, reinforcing their commitment to grassroots engagement, inclusion, and participation.

Bathurst 2025 Impact

Over the course of the week, the Foundation directly reached more than 1,750 children through the delivery of 11 skills clinics across three local schools within the region.

This included three dedicated disability sports clinics ensuring young people of all abilities had the opportunity and access to participate in the game of rugby league.

In addition to the school visits, the Foundation hosted a Play Like a Panther Junior Rugby League Clinic that brought together hundreds of local children, followed by a full-squad signing session.

This gave young players the chance to meet their heroes, ask questions, and create lasting memories.

Mudgee 2025 Impact

Over the course of the week, the Foundation reached over 2,500 members of the community through a range of school, Junior Rugby League and community-based initiatives, ensuring meaningful engagement across all age groups and abilities.

A key feature of the visit was the Panthers strong presence within local schools. The entire NRL squad engaged with schools within Mudgee, delivering clinics that focused on participation, teamwork, leadership, and the values of rugby league.

The players spent time interacting with students whilst leading activities and games alongside Panthers community coaches and NRL Game Development Officers. In addition to the school visits, the Foundation hosted a Play Like a Panther Junior Rugby League Clinic, which saw over 300 children in attendance.

Club legend, Royce Simmons, made an appearance at this clinic, and his presence added inspiration and history to the experience, creating a powerful connection between generations of the game.
