Disability Work
Panthers Foundation’s disability initiatives aim to increase and diversify opportunities for individuals of all abilities to play and engage with rugby league, helping to remove barriers that may prevent or limit participation.
With the generous support of Zenn Ability, the Panthers Foundation delivers a series of inclusive outreach programs, including the Play Like a Panther Disability Clinics, for young people across Western Sydney, the Blue Mountains, and the Central West.
Disability School Sports Program
The Panthers Foundation Disability School Sports Program is an eight-week program which provides students with disability the opportunity to engage and participate in dance, sport and rugby league-based activities in a fun, high-energy, safe and inclusive environment. Across eight consecutive weeks, the foundation will visit schools to deliver sessions of dance and/or sports activities to students.
Gala Day: International Day of Persons with Disability
Through this work, the Foundation continues to ensure that people from all backgrounds, abilities, and communities can experience the many physical, social, and emotional benefits that sport provides.
