Women in League
The Panthers’ Women in League foundation was formed in March 2006.
Since that time, the group has raised thousands for cancer research, Panthers on the Prowl, and the Penrith Women’s Refuge, just to name a few.
The Panthers’ Women in League raises money for nominated charities at several functions throughout the year, aiming to lend a hand to people in the Penrith community and beyond, including the Cure the Future Foundation.
The 2013 Panthers Women in League Luncheon will be held in the Chairman's Lounge at Centrebet Stadium Penrith, on Thursday May 16 at 12pm for a 12:30pm start. This exciting event will be hosted by Channel 9 personality and sports journalist Tim Gilbert, with local entrepreneur Helena Crompton our guest speaker.
Tickets are just $40 per person, or a table of ten can be purchased for $350. To secure your tickets, please contact Diane Langmack on 4725 6484 or on 0419 690 702. Be sure to wear your best pink outfit and book early to avoid disappointment, as numbers are limited.
The team is also hard at work on more activities for the Women in League Pink Round – the biggest across all of the NRL clubs. The 2013 match will once again see the Panthers players wear their famous pink strip as they take on the New Zealand Warriors at Centrebet Stadium on Sunday May 18.
