Pre-season training kicked off this week for the Panthers girls looking to defend their premiership in the 2018 Tarsha Gale Cup competition.

The club has eight girls returning from last year's premiership-winning team, along with plenty of new faces, all competing hard to earn selection in the final squad of 20 players.

Robbie Taylor returns as Head Coach in 2018 while many of last year's staff have also signed on for the upcoming season.

The Panthers made history in 2017 as they won the inaugural Tarsha Gale Cup Grand Final against Canterbury Bulldogs at Leichhardt Oval.

The club looks forward to another successful season as it continues to build on an elite pathway for women's rugby league in the district.
