Fox Sports 501 will be broadcasting extended highlights of nine memorable Panthers games on Tuesday 10th January. The action kicks off at 10am.
10:00am: Panthers v Parramatta R19 2011
Parramatta travelled down the M4 for the Battle of the West looking to stay in the race for a finals berth against a Penrith side that had won six of their past eight games. The Panthers occupied eighth spot on the ladder thanks to a mid-season revival coinciding with Steve Georgallis’ promotion to coach.
Trailing by six points with just seconds to go, the Panthers had one last chance when Michael Jennings danced through the Eels defence and set up Lachlan Coote for the try. Travis Burns levelled the scores to send it to golden point before Luke Walsh slotted home the winning field goal.
11:30am: Panthers v Rabbitohs R15 1992
Defending premiers Penrith were fighting to make the finals and facing a struggling South Sydney Rabbitohs side that was winless in its previous six matches.
Brad Fittler was at his devastating best as he carved open the Souths defence to set up two tries and crossed over for his own to lead the Panthers to a crucial 24-20 win.
12:30pm: Panthers v Manly R8 2003
Early in the premiership-winning 2003 season, the Panthers hosted Manly with both sides coming off consecutive wins and sitting level on eight competition points.
A dominant first half performance saw Penrith take an 18-2 lead into halftime but they were roped in by a determined Manly outfit in the second half. In the end it was the class of Preston Campbell’s goal-kicking which proved to be the difference.
1:30pm: Panthers v Raiders R2 1998
Canberra Raiders made the trip to Penrith as both teams entered Round 2 looking for a boost after suffering losses in the opening round.
Despite a David Boyle hat trick for the visitors, Panthers fan favourite Ryan Girdler scored two tries and kicked six goals to lead the home side to a four-point victory.
2:30pm: Panthers v Bears R14 1991
Penrith Park staged a mouth-watering top of the table clash between the second-placed Panthers and ladder-topping North Sydney Bears.
In what proved to be a tight and torrid affair, Greg Alexander scored all eight points for the hosts as they were able to shut out the Bears and leapfrog them to the summit of the NSWRL ladder.

3:30pm: Panthers v Bulldogs R12 2004
The Bulldogs visited Penrith Stadium hoping to turn the tables against a Panthers outfit that had knocked them out of the 2003 finals series on their charge to the Premiership.
A first half hat-trick to Luke Patten handed the Bulldogs the lead at the break but they couldn’t hold out a fast-finishing Panthers side that crossed twice late in the game to seal a memorable 11-point victory.
4:30pm: Panthers v Dragons R20 1993
With little to play for, the Panthers were looking to cause an upset when they hosted second-placed St George Dragons.
Hall of Fame inductee Greg Alexander scored a vital try as the Panthers were able to snatch an unexpected win over the eventual grand finalists.
5:30pm: Panthers v Cowboys R23 2014
North Queensland trekked to the foot of the mountains in search of their fifth-straight win and looking to book a top four spot. They faced a Panthers side defying the odds in an injury-plagued campaign to be sitting in third.
Jamie Soward continued his renaissance in a Penrith jersey as he crossed twice and had a hand in tries to Jeremy Latimore and Josh Mansour before teeing up Matt Moylan to score the decisive field goal.
6:30pm: Panthers v Roosters Grand Final 2003
After finishing twelfth the season prior, few could have imagined the fairytale-like season Penrith enjoyed in 2003 as they ended the regular season as minor premiers. It culminated in a Grand Final appearance against Sydney Roosters, pitting east against west.
It was a bruising opening to the decider before Penrith settled the better and struck first on the scoreboard as Luke Rooney crossed following a crafty dummy-half run from Luke Priddis.
The Roosters would level things up just after the break and would have thought they were going to hit the lead when winger Todd Byrne streaked down the touchline. Up pops Scott Sattler in cover to produce one of the most iconic tackles in NRL history to keep it at 6-6.
Priddis would barge over under the posts and then lay off the final try in a performance that won him the Clive Churchill Medal, as the Panthers secured the club’s second premiership.
