A thrilling victory over the Warriors in Auckland means the Panthers will meet them again next week in the finals of the Intrust Super Premiership NSW.

A makeshift ISP Panthers outfit pulled off an impressive 36-24 win at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday to claim their spot in the finals series.

The Panthers raced out of the blocks and enjoyed an early 12-0 lead with tries to Ray Lesoa and George Jennings.

However the Warriors hit back with four consecutive tries before halftime to take a 24-12 lead into the break.

In the second half Panthers prop Viliame Kikau barged his way over while winger Zac Mackay claimed a double to seal the result.
