It was ‘back to school’ for the Penrith Panthers this week as they visited classrooms across the region as part of the club’s Adopt-A-School program.

All 39 members of the Panthers fulltime squad have been assigned to 18 local primary schools and will visit their adopted schools once a month for the rest of the season.

This week Nigel Plum and Leilani Latu spoke to the students of Surveyors Creek Public School about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet and regular exercise.

Then it was question time, with the Panthers duo fielding a wide array of queries about their backgrounds, their careers and their personal passions.

Watch the video above to see Nigel and Leilani in action and learn more about the program.
