Frederick Maisey was a Windsor player who served overseas for three years, initially with the 3rd Battalion. He rose to be a Lieutenant and was badly wounded at Pozieres. He served for two more years but died of illness in September 1918, two months before the end of the war.

Dr Brendan Nelson from the Australian War Memorial, Frank Puletua and Ben Ross talk about Fred and the thousands of soldiers who have served our great Country.

Acknowledgement of Country

Penrith Panthers players and staff respect and honour the traditional custodians of the land and pay our respects to their elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
