We had a group of Indigenous students from Kingswood High School come to visit Pepper Stadium with their parents last week, to chat about the importance of education and how vital it is to attend school every day.

Panthers Indigenous Welfare Officer Glen Liddiard sat down with the group to discuss the current culture of letting kids have the day off whenever they wanted, because mums and dads may not see value in the regular school system.

During their visit, they went on a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium and its facilities, and after spending a couple of hours with us, both parents and students were more determined to get their attendance levels up and place more value on getting a good education.
