NSW Premier, The Hon Mike Baird MP and Member for Penrith, Stuart Ayres MP today announced a $12 million contribution towards the construction of state-of-the-art Western Sydney Community and Sports Centre on a site adjacent to Panthers Leagues Club.

'Western Sydney is a growing region. It is a sporting facility long overdue. It will provide space for netball, futsal, wheelchair rugby and other indoor sports, a large gymnasium and exhibition and event halls,' Mr Baird said

Panthers Group CEO Warren Wilson thanked the Premier and local member Stuart Ayers for the support of the state government. “The Panthers Group will be putting in around $30 million. It will be a great sporting and community facility.' Mr Wilson said.

He added, “The project will commence early 2016”
