Nigel Plum going bald…for a great cause

Penrith Panthers player Nigel Plum will join Penrith local and mum Terrena Uru as she raises money for the Leukaemia Foundation, taking part in the 2013 World’s Greatest Shave.

Nigel and Terrena will go bald tomorrow as the children from Sweetpeas Kindergarten & Long Daycare Centre Cranebrook watch on. The kids have spent the past few weeks learning about children with Leukaemia, and will be joining in by colouring their hair for the occasion.

Terrena has already raised over $1300 herself towards the cause, and Nigel is proud to represent the Panthers in supporting the Foundation. Nigel will also present Sweetpeas with a 2013 Panthers jersey signed by himself and his team mates, for the school to auction off to raise further funds for the fight against Leukaemia.
