Guest speaker: Catherine Oates Smith

Catherine Oates Smith originally a lawyer in Australia and the U.K, and whose expertise extends from Television Journalist, Director of Business Development, and COO to current roles as a Deputy Chair of the Cell and Gene Trust, and member of the Fundraising Committee of the National Art School. Catherine’s 20 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles in marketing and legal, fundraising, television, journalism, and community advocacy in Australia and the U.K. are now a beacon of light in following her dream.

Catherine has just launched ochristmastree.com.au, a start-up e-commerce business, selling gorgeous hand-made Christmas decorations created in Vietnam by disadvantaged adults. In so doing, ochristmastree.com.au contributes to the several projects that help disadvantaged adults earn vital income to improve their quality of life.

All money raised on the day will be donated to a local charity.
