Panthers do the hard yards in heatwave

Panthers do the hard yards in heatwave

The mercury topped 44 degrees on the training paddock at Centrebet Stadium today, but that didn't stop the Panthers putting in a hard-hitting session.

The boys kicked things off with some warm-ups before taking on their team mates in an opposed match in the unforgiving heat. Seasoned trainer Ronnie Palmer used his skills and experience to ensure the players got the most out of the session, while keeping them hydrated with water breaks every 10 minutes, and a welcome ice and cold towel break every 20 minutes.

The session has put the Panthers in good stead for our first trial match against the Wests Tigers in Bathurst on February 8.

Check out the photos of today's session in the gallery.
